Not about imaging at all.

Despite the introduction saying that "it is designed specifically for those involved in image processing system", I failed to see how the book is supposed to achieve that. Most examples are not even about image processing. It is really a general, little-bit of everything software engineering book, including some distasteful engineer propaganda.
So if you are looking about a book to help you design imaging systems, this book barely talk about it at all. If you are looking for a software engineering book, there are better ones out there.

Thank you D. K., for an excellent continuing story with many interesting twists and turns. Once again I really enjoy reading your stories and series because it is very good. I highly recommend reading this book and series to anyone except those who have a problem with crude language. You seem to put more into each book as we move forward. You do need to hire a better proof reader as each book seems to have more than the last book. I love your wonderful imagination and characters.

The unique magic system is always interesting to read about. The characters are all well written and have real good motives for their actions. When they do seem one dimensional it is actually used as a plot device to show a bit of suspicion on them and hidden motives which I enjoyed.
If you like the first two books you are going to enjoy the third.

I really do enjoy the author, but all of these books are way too short. I mean they could basically be only parts of a full-sized book. So many new e-books are less than 300 pages anymore. A little more history and character building would add a lot to the experience and overall enjoyment.

A Must-read for educators

These new arrivals in the world have been the subject of much speculation and some outrageous claims concerning their alleged powers. What this book does is provide a definition of the term and how it came to be and then shares with the reader how to deal with this evolved group of folks. Learn what has worked and what will definitely not work. This information comes from child psychologists, teachers, healthcare workers, parents and others who have had interaction on a large scale with these folks. An extremely valuble book for anyone who works with or around children.

This book does a very good job of describing the Indigo children and their traits and the influences these will have on those around them and in the work place. There is very good information on their needs that are different from other children and instruction on how to raise them and meet their needs, including diet.

A great read!

Just wanted to be the first to write a review for Keith Blackmore, on yet another great book. I began reading work by this author when a friend told me about "The Mountain Man", which was a fantastic book. But, I must admit horror is not my usual genre, but thought I would give it a try, and I was not disappointed! This book- which is my genre of choice- was also a fantastic book! It has great characters, a great story, action, comedy, some great twists,and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Starts off explosively and keeps you enthralled to the end. I highly recommend this book to all you fantasy enthusiasts...and for any of you who aren't, give it a try, it may change your mind(yes really)!!
Anyways, thanks to the author for another awesome book! I will be reading more of your work for sure, and am anticipating your mountain man sequel!! I just purchased " The Missing Boatmen" a few minutes ago, and am going to start reading it right away! I'm sure it will suck me into "your world " like the last two I have read and I'm sure I won't be disappointed!! Keep up the great work, your a marvelous storyteller!

What a great read!!

What an awesome, fast paced, gritty and entertaining book!

Blackmore ranks out there with the Morgans,Buchanans, Abercrombies, Glen Cook , Vaughn Heppner, Mark Lawrence, among others.

His ability in creating awfull, yet eminently likeable, characters, is wonderfull! The pace of the books is fantastic, as is the action.

An Author to follow. Eagerly.
