In the beginning of he text, the exercises at the end of each section do a good job at reflecting what was taught in the examples (many problems mimic them), but as you delve deeper in the book, this slowly starts to change. Overall the book is great and has plenty of explanation and pictures to go along with the concepts being taught.

This is a great book but this 8th edition it was not issued for academic reasons, but solely for milking students out of money.
I purchased the 6th edition ISBN10 0763746312 for $2.50 and it is 99.9% identical.
