Electrical circuit theory

I now have both books by Prof. Shenkman, the earlier one being on steady state analysis. The books are by far the best books around on the subject avoiding the usual lazy approach by most academic authors who give minimal theory and then refer the (unfortunate) student to the CD at the back of the book. However, the books stop short of taking theory to reality. For example, when considering transients, why not take some switching cases and show how the theory applies to them rather than taking some simple circuit to analyze? A glaring item missing from the transients book is a better treatment of oscillatory circuits including the use of damping curves. But on the whole, well done!
